Tom decided to tackle his dryer vents after seeing a ‘scary lint buildup’ warning online. He pulled out his cleaning kit and got to work, fully expecting it to be quick and uneventful. Nope. Not only did he pull out enough lint to stuff a small pillow, but he also discovered a missing sock and, hilariously, his daughter’s plastic dinosaur. Now, Tom jokes that his dryer vent is the house’s lost-and-found—and he’s weirdly proud of how smoothly his dryer runs now.
