Kate’s 7-year-old twins have been obsessed with their slime kit lately, and honestly, she’s not complaining. It’s been a fun way to spend time together, and the clean-up is surprisingly manageable (as long as they stick to the table!). Their current favorite is making “birthday cake slime,” complete with colorful beads and glitter.
What she didn’t expect? How relaxing it can be to sit and squish slime while chatting about their day. It’s become their little after-school ritual—mixing, laughing, and sharing stories while they create.
