A virtual Super Bowl party probably isn't how you hoped to celebrate this year, but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)is encouraging virtual activities for the lowest risk of spreading and/or contracting Covid-19.
So, grab your laptop or big-screen TV, rock your team's jersey, and cheer on your favorite team with these virtual Super Bowl party ideas, free printables, and restaurant deals!
1. Stream the game from the comfort of your couch!
-- You can watch the game FOR FREE on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App on your phone and connected TV devices.
In addition, the game will be streamed free on NFL digital properties across devices, and on mobile via the participating
teams' mobile properties, and Yahoo Sports and other Verizon Media mobile properties.
2. Gather virtually
-- Send out an e-vite for a Zoom party before, during, and after the game! You can invite your family and friends ahead of time and include the invitation on a calendar - or send it out by text or email.
Don't forget to give your Zoom background an NFL theme!
-- Put Superbowl decorations up if you want! Yeah, even if it's just you!! It will help everyone get into the team spirit, and can be a fun craft in the days leading up to the big game.
-- On game day, food is often the best part of Super Bowl Sunday, so of course it should be included in your virtual party! Have each family cook up their fave game day dish. Then present your creations on your Zoom get-together. The most inventive dish scores a touchdown!
-- Super Bowl ads are engaging to watch, but you can use them to play Superbowl Bingo. Print some Super Bowl Bingo cards ahead of time, so everybody's prepared to play at game-time.
-- Kick your Superbowl gathering off by testing everybody on football history. Ask some football trivia questions to see who will win the game day prize.
-- This game is perfect for a virtual Super Bowl party because it can be filled out on these free printables before the game even starts. Then the guests ‘grade’ their own paper during the game, and a winner is announced at the end of the football game.

9. Do a Half-time Show
