You don't need a lot of tools to build a dollhouse.
All of this dollhouse, excluding the interior walls, was cut out of a single sheet of 4-foot x 8-foot plywood.
The whole thing was cut out at the Home Depot.

The Reading Calendar is a FREE service to educators offered by High Noon Books, a division of Academic Therapy Publications.
Dr. Michael Milone introduced the concept at the annual conference of the International Reading Association in Phoenix in 2009, where teachers received it enthusiastically.
The PDF file contains a daily reading calendar based on the high-interest, low readability book Throwing the Game, from the series entitled The Fixers.
The Fixers is about a former computer hacker named Shane and his friend Lena, a former gang member, who now put their unique skills to good use around town whenever a problematic situation needs
fixing.
The Fixers is written at a 1st-grade readability level and is recommended for ages 14 and up.

Dexter would prefer to lay on top of a person - if he isn't laying on his bed on my computer desk (He is a little dog, a bichon).
You can make this no-sew pet bed!
This pet bed looks pretty simple to make and needs no sewing at all! Probably much cheaper than buying one, and you can wash it!
Making a fleece pet bed yourself allows you to fully customize the pet bed, and choose the cover, filling and style that suits you, and your dog or cat, best!

You could buy the McCalls Dog Bed pattern, but it looks like all they did was:
1. Cut out a couple of ovals from anti-pill polyester fleece (Dog Print Fleece or Cat Print Fleece or Petmate Polar Fleece Pet Blanket), about 4-6 inches larger than the size you need.
(Anti-Pill is a treatment applied to garments primarily to resist the formation of little balls on the fabric's surface due to abrasion during wear.)

3. Tie together one strip of fleece on one oval to a strip of fleece on the second oval - using an over-hand knot. Some prefer to double-knot.
4. Repeat all around the oval, leaving a space open to stuff.
5. Stuff with Polyester Fiberfill (Fairfield Poly-Fil Premium Polyester Fiber), wool, cotton or even cedar shavings.
6. Tie remaining fleece strips.

-- Here are two different Car Bingo games. Each has 4 different cards with the items scrambled up. Print enough for each person to have one from each game.
Pennies make good card markers, or you can print fresh ones for each trip and check off items with a pencil.
They will also fit into a quart sized zipper bag you can write on with a dry erase marker.
You may even want to print these game sheets on cardstock paper and laminate them, so you can keep them in your box of travel goodies so they'll last for several trips.
