DID YOU KNOW?
Valance is pronounced by rhyming with balance.
HOW TO MAKE:
To make a valance for your window, start by using a tape measure to measure the width of your window.
If you prefer a gathered valance, then you would multiply by 1.5 to know how much fabric you need.
Your valance should be about 1/4 of the length of your window or at least 15 inches.
