She embarks on a journey to the sea with a magical shell that shows her how our health and well-being depend on the marine environment, and explains how the ocean is under threat.

Arriving at her destination, the girl helps us realize how we can all break the spell and save the ocean, and ourselves.

To help your students write their own thank you letters, download the printable stationery here (PDF). The stationery includes prompts for writing the letter and instructions for delivery.

These comprehensive manuals provide educators with innovative and interactive lesson plans to be utilized either individually or as an entire unit. This resource is designed for upper elementary students (grades 3-5) and complements the Once Upon a Tide film.
