Frugal Tip: Homemade Vicks Shower Disks
Have you ever seen the Vicks mentholated shower disks in stores?
Did you ever buy one? How well did they work?
Well, here is how to make homemade mentholated shower disks.
If you are congested, just pop one onto the floor of your shower, and let the steam do its work!

Vicks Eucalyptus Shower Steamer |
Ingredients
🛁 Baking soda🛁 Arrowroot powder
🛁 Water
🛁 Essential oils: eucalyptus, rosemary, and lavender.
🛁 Muffin tin
🛁 Muffin liners
Instructions:
Combine baking soda, arrowroot powder, water, and 15 drops (each) of lavender, eucalyptus, and rosemary essential oils.
Stir into a thick paste. (it should be thick, with some water on the top)
Scoop into a muffin tin lined with muffin cups or a silicone muffin tin.
Bake at 250 degrees until fully hardened – about 30 minutes.
Alternatively, you can set them out overnight for 12-18 hours. (Keep away from pets)
Silicone muffin tins work best to remove the shower tabs once cooled.
But if you want to use a regular muffin tin, it's best to use a cupcake liner.
How To Use:
Simply place one on the floor of your shower. Under the direct spray of the shower dissolves it more quickly but gives you an intense hit.

why is it called vicks shower pucks if there is no vicks in it?
I love how this recipe can be used as a decongestant. It can also be used to just relax with other essential oils. It's great to make this myself and save money. I appreciate this frugal recipe. Thanks for sharing, shalom.
