Free Night Out 2012 Kit (US)
The "29th Annual National Night Out" (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, 2012 (Texas will celebrate on October 2, 2012).
They invite you and your community to be part of their Night Out 2012 Team.
Last year's National Night Out campaign involved citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from over 15,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide. In all, over 37 million people participated in National Night Out 2011.
Once registered, coordinators receive an ORGANIZATIONAL KIT filled with 'how-to' materials such as:
• promotional ideas
• guidelines
• tips
• questions and answers
• camera-ready art
• sample news releases and proclamations

I want to get an early start on this year's National Night Out. I am hoping to have a wonderful block party in my front yard with all the neighbors joining in.
