An old hoax is going around again regarding Facebook's Instant Personalization feature. We do recommend that you opt out of this feature, but ignore the claims made in the hoax. This is our original post on the feature when it was first launched (months ago). Please share with any friends who might find the information useful.

REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR COUPONS! You know to check your cash register slip for mistakes, right? Do you check your coupons too? The cashier accidentally put in my $2.00 coupon as $0.20, my $5.00 coupon as $0.50 - I would have been out of almost $7.00 if I had not checked my bill before leaving the store!

QUICK FREEBIE TIP:
Be cautious about where you give out your personal information. Don't provide any more information than you are comfortable with. Personally, I never give out my exact date of birth (you can change the month or date) or telephone number. (555 is a handy area code) Some go as far as getting a P.O. Box for their freebies.
