Free Reading Resources (ALL)
This is a wonderful program dedicated to teaching kids grades PK-6. Look under tools and resources for kits, picture cards, printables and more.
Picture Cards - Note that these picture cards have the word that each picture represents printed on them for your reference. When using them with phonological awareness activities, though, you should either fold over or cut off these printed words; otherwise, students may use the letters as prompts (recognizing the letter 'o', for instance, rather than listening for the sound /o/).
Decodable passages are short stories that can be read by a student who knows:
♦ How to sound out regular words, and
♦ The 30 irregular words taught in the Irregular Word sequence.
Many decodable stories included in commercial reading programs are redundant and lack the authenticity of a real reading experience. We have tried to create stories that are more authentic as well as being 100% decodable.
The Word List Generator Project has created a database of 2084 words that elementary school teachers can use to help students practice and build sounding out and word-form recognition skills.

QUICK FREEBIE TIP:
Filling out form after form can be quite tedious. To make this process faster, you can use autofill software. Autofill software remembers information such as your name and address and automatically fills in the blanks for you on forms. Roboform is a great free autofill software download. The Google toolbar has an autofill function and Firefox offers a free Autofill Form Add On for their browser.
