Free Kindergarten Worksheets (ALL)
A recently retired kindergarten teacher just launched a totally free website for parents devoted to school readiness topics.
She has published her first free e-book:
"Early Writing for Little Hands" - discusses how to introduce your child to the 26 letters, includes easy tips for teaching your child the proper pencil grip for writing, and includes 52 alphabet tracing worksheets (one for each uppercase letter and lowercase letter).
PLUS there are tons of fun worksheets to print for free!
New worksheets added this week: identifying identical pictures and classifying pictures in Visual Discrimination.
Identifying identical pictures - To successfully match two pictures, a child must notice and remember distinguishing characteristics in each picture he sees. The following worksheets will give your child an opportunity to hone his visual discrimination skills by selecting two identical pictures from a row of pictures.
Classifying pictures - Classifying images requires strong visual discrimination and reasoning skills. The following worksheets will give your child an opportunity to hone his classification skills by selecting the three pictures in each row that share a common theme. Encourage your child to discuss the reasoning behind his classification system, as talking aloud will encourage him to thoughtfully consider each picture and the overarching theme of the three grouped pictures.
