TD Summer Reading Program (Canada) - Kids, 12 and under, who register with their local library for the TD Summer Reading Club receive a poster, stickers and an activity book all free as a part of their reading kit.
Barnes & Noble reading program (US) - Kids read any eight books and record them in their Reading Journal. Then they can choose a free book from the list when they turn in their completed Reading Journal to a local B&N store. Plus downloadable fun activities and teaching tips in their exclusive activity kits.
Scholastic program (US) - Kids log in their reading times to enter sweepstakes. Reach the weekly reading goal to win digital prizes. Parent get expert tips and activities, downloadable summer reading lists.
Half Price Books (US) - Kids 14 and under can earn Back-to-School Bucks for keeping an appetite for reading this summer. Turn in your completed reading log to receive your $5 Back-to-School Bucks summer reading reward!
Borders and Books Double Dog Dare Summer Reading program (US) - Kids 12 and under. Read 10 books, any ones you like. Bring in your completed form to your local store for a free book.
Chuck E. Cheese Kids Rewards Calendars (US/CDN) - Six free printable reward calendars to help kids develop in areas that are some of the most common challenges of parenting. Bring it in completed to Chuck E. Cheese's and receive 10 free tokens as a reward.
2011 Summer Islamic Reading Challenge (US/CDN) - To encourage literacy, writing and Islamic deen (way of life). All participants receive a prize.
Bookworm Wednesdays (US) - entitles kids to free admission to a select children's film when they present a book report at a participating Showcase Cinemas, Multiplex Cinemas or Cinema de Lux box office. Accompanying parents or guardians and children under six receive free admission and do not need to submit a book report.
Pottery Barn Kids - Book Club (US/CDN) - receive an official Book Club Card at their first story time, and a special gift after attending five story times. Complete a reading list and get a free book.
Sylvan Book Adventure (US/CDN) - a FREE reading motivation program for children in grades K-8. Children create their own book lists from over 7,000 recommended titles, take multiple choice quizzes on the books they've read, and earn points and prizes for their literary successes.
Book-It Summer Reading Program (US) - kids who were in grades K-6 during the 2009-10 school year and who meet the challenge of reading five books, will be eligible for a chance to win a slammin' summer prize package including swim gear, books, games, gift cards, and more!
Old Spaghetti Factory Summer Reading Program (US) - Children who read five books are eligible for a free kid's meal.
