SwagCode Tutorial - Swidget/Twitter Code
Did you sign up to Swag Bucks yet? Don't even know what a Swag Buck is?
This is a tutorial on how to find the Swag Codes:
Every so often throughout the day, you should check the Swidget.
If you don't have one of your own, there is a Swidget located in the right hand column of this blog, down near the bottom of the page
and looks like the picture to the left.
What you do is click on the black SC Swag Code Button along the bottom, and a blue button that says
"Check if there's a Swag Code"
will pop up in the middle of the Swidget.
If there is no active code right now, it will say so:
"There is no Swag Code available. Please try again later."
When I clicked on it yesterday, a Swag Code message was there -
"Code on Twitter - worth 5 SBs till 2:30 pm PDT"
So the Swag Code for yesterday was found on the SwagBucks Twitter page - it's worth 5 Swag Bucks and you had till 2:30 PM PDT to submit it! That's 5:30 PM EST.
So then we go to their Twitter page at
http://twitter.com/SWAGBUCKS
where we found a tweet from The Swag Guy (TSG)
It says, ❝Are you ready for the Swagananza coming this Monday? To make sure you don't forget, use code "SeeYoumoNday" for 5 bonus SBs b4 2:30 pm PDT❞
So the Swag Code for yesterday was SeeYoumoNday - it's worth 5 Swag Bucks and you had till 2:30 PM PDT to submit it! That's 5:30 PM EST.
Next you go the the SwagBucks.com home page and on the right hand side you will see a box like this one shown left. In the white box under "Enter your Swag Code", paste in your code.
Make sure when you copy and paste the code, that there aren't any spaces on either side of the code - or it won't work.
Now click the "Gimme" button. If you have put in the right code correctly, it will then say "You just received 5 Swag Bucks"!
And now you are 5 Swag Bucks richer!
If you are having trouble getting the code to be accepted, here's a hint:
Sometimes the code is dynamic, which means it changes every 20 seconds, so refresh again for another code, and copy and paste quickly. Having two browser windows or tabs open, so you can copy the code from one tab and paste to the Gimme Box in the other tab - will usually help.
