@FrugalFreebies, I'll take a wild guess, and say you were able to get that many cards/bucks, because you have a whole lot of referrals...?
(having your own website that you can get members to join under your swagbucks referral link helps a lot doesn't it?) Too bad the majority of swagbuck users out there can't get anywhere close to that type of swagbuck point collection. :(

  2. It's true that most of the SBs I earned was thanks to referrals. However, I have come across many SB users who don't have any referrals and have made way more than I have in less time!

Here are some ideas I have written out that you could use:
Are you doing your 1 SBs dailys? Toolbar, Poll, Survey Dashboard, NOSO? That's an 120 easy SB every month.

Next there are Special Offers, Surveys, Tasks, Swaggo, Referrals, Trade-ins, uploading pics & videos of your Swag prizes, etc. for SBs - and of course swag codes. Submit poll ideas, enter Swagstakes, play Twitter Tuesday Phrase that Pays, post on Twitter with #swagbucks, Twitter Trivia, search on Mega Swag Bucks Day - did I miss anything?

Use your Swagbucks to get business cards to hand out and post in grocery stores. Get SB t-shirts and hope someone asks about it while you are wearing it. Post your referral link in your signature in all your emails and in any forums that all it.

Post your search wins to your FB and Twitter, so your friends can see you winning, to gain referrals. Do the same with anything you buy from Swagbucks, always include pics.

    Hope that helps!

I'l like to respond to some of your comments if I may.

"I have come across many SB users who don't have any referrals and have made way more than I have in less time!"

You said you earned $275 in amazon cards, right? Since the most cost effect amazon card value is $5 (for 450 swagbucks), that would mean you earned about 123,000+ swagbucks in two months (or around 2100 swagbucks a day). I'm sorry, but I'll have to call your bluff on your statement about knowing many swagbuck users that have earned more than you in less time with no referrals. The "average" swagbuck user earns (wins) about 30-50 a day (from search wins, swagcodes, and the occasional task here and there), and about 100 if they do a survey now and then. These are daily averages over a month'as time. You are earning bout 2o times that with the help of your referrals. (do you mind me asking how many you have?)

    As for...

"Here are some ideas I have written out that you could use: Are you doing your 1 SBs dailys? Toolbar, Poll, Survey Dashboard, NOSO? That's an 120 easy SB every month."

Yes, and those 4 daily bucks are included in my "30-50" comment.

Come on FF, the amount of time and effect a person has to put in to reap the rewards of a few bucks here and there, is way more work than the average swagbuck user is willing to do. Now, is it possible to earn lots of extra bucks from all those things? Sure it is, but then again I go back to your original statement about the people you know that have earned more than you without any referrals.

The math doesn't lie. Trying to get 2100+ swagbucks a day is basically impossible, unless of course you have plenty of referrals helping you out. ;)

I just wish you would inform your website members about how swagbucks really works, and that all their search wins also get added into your swagbuck account (for the first 1000 swagbucks they win), and that the only way a swagbuck member will earn points really fast, is to use their own referral link (after joining), and giving that link out to as many people as possible (just like what you have been doing).

Anywho, enjoy the swagbucks that you do earned (I would love to be in your shoes).

  4. Thanks for your feedback - I have never hidden the fact that I earn most of my money by referrals. I also work hard to help my readers earn as much Swagbucks as they can for themselves.

I only get matching swagbucks for their searchs, which does not affect how much they earn - you have made it sound like I take their winnings?

Your math is wrong, because you cannot buy more than five $5.00 Amazon cards each month - so I have won four $5.00 cards in April, five $5.00 cards in May as well as two $50 cards - and five $5.00 cards in June and two more $50 cards - placing my ordering by June 12 - so within the two month period.

With the $5.00 cards at 450 SBs and the $50 cards at 5900 SBs - that's a total of 30,350 SBs - over a period of 60 days that's only 506 SBs per day - not so impossible to achieve when you work at it. Some of the surveys pay out as high as 300 SBs!

I have never considered myself average, and know that I am good at what I do. You keep mentioning the average user - I did not say that the people I know are average. They work hard for the Swagbucks they make - one friend earns over $400 in Amazon gift cards every month - she puts me to shame! LOL

Some of the Swaggernauts on the fan page spend their days doing surveys and Special Offers, Taks, Shop 'n Earn, etc - and yes, some of them make more than I do. I haven't got a lot of the time for that - I agree it does take a lot of time and energy to make your Swagbucks that way.

And yes, perhaps that is more work then what the average person is willing to do. You get what you put into it.

Sorry none of my ideas were helpful - they are just some of the ways I have seen others do really well with Swagbucks.

Oh, and at the moment - I have 292 referrals, with 116 of them active and 10 already maxed out for me at 1,000.
