new dog - DexterWe just got a new dog on the weekend from the pound - originally his name given to him by the pound was Francis, but no-one here liked that name and he didn't answer to it anyhow. After much deliberation, his name is Dexter.

He is a Bichon Frise and only weighs 3.5 kg (7.7 lbs). He is so skinny, we will have to fatten him up a bit. Dexter and Denny (our other dog - Bichon/poodle) have been getting along wonderfully, though they are barking together which needs to be worked on!

But I had forgotten how time-consuming new dogs can be! I haven't had a lot of time to get on the computer, between the potty-training, stopping the barking, and taking him to the vet to get checked.
