Christmas Freebie Hunt - Nintendo DSi & Wii

Catherine McDiarmid-Watt | Wednesday, December 09, 2009 | 0 comments

Christmas Freebie HuntHere is my Christmas present to all my readers - I am offering to help find you the freebies you really want!

I posted the offer to the Frugal Freebies fan page, and got lots of response - I will post what I found for them each day. Read more about our Christmas Freebie Hunt here.

--------------------------------------------

Paula asked for a cheaper Nintendo DSi - I have no idea what they normally cost - or if she was looking for US or Canada - but here's what I found yesterday:

- Amazon Canada has a Nintendo DSi White for $169.98. Ships free.
- Amazon US has a Nintendo DSi Bundle for $169.99. Includes 5 pre-installed titles. Ships free.
- Walmart.com (US) has a Nintendo DSi for $169.00.
- Toys'R'Us.com (US) has a Nintendo DSi for $169.00.

Are those good prices? Has anyone found a better price?

Toys'R'Us Canada has 4 game titles for $29.99 each (Buy 1,Get 1 half off) - Nintendo DSi - Style Lab: Makeover, Nintendo DSi - Style Lab: Jewelry Design, Nintendo DSi - Imagine: Babyz Fashion, Nintendo DSi - Petz Nursery.

--------------------------------------------

Brandi asked for free Wii promos. These all seem to require participation. I asked Brandie if that was what she was looking for? She said participation offers were fine.

I make no guarantees that this one will work, but if you are interested in participation offers, I found this site - Free NintendoWii.

I did find one offer that if you bought a Panasonic HD Plasma TV in Australia, you would get a free Nintendo Wii! LOL

Then Brandi wrote back to say that she was mostly looking for Wii accessories and games.

Heather wrote: "if you are looking for games or even the system... you might find a good deal on your local CraigsList. Not free, but I've found a lot of games really cheap... and then you can also swap your games out (along with cd's, books, and movies) on Swaptree.com I know none of that is exactly free but it is a bargain."

I added: "Also try Freecycle.org or Kijiji.com"

Checking back in the Frugal Freebies posts, this offer is still available:
Free Wii Remote Jacket Accessory

Plus there are many sites that offer free Wii games:
MiiWii Games
Wii Game Downloads

And check out PriceGrabber to find the best online price for a game.
