You know that moment where you want ice cream, but you also want to know what’s in it—and maybe not have to put on real pants to go out and get it? Enter: the Ninja CREAMi.
I will say this upfront: I didn’t expect to become obsessed with a countertop ice cream maker. But here we are. Me, late at night, scooping peanut butter fudge swirl like a mad scientist who just cracked the code to happiness.
And the best part? I didn’t even have to churn anything, freeze weird bowls, or Google what "soft-serve consistency" is supposed to feel like. I pressed a button, walked away, came back, and boom: dessert.

I’ve made frozen Greek yogurt with honey, smoothie bowls that could rival any $14 café version and even dairy-free sorbet for my lactose-intolerant cousin who lives in a constant state of dessert FOMO.

I used a leftover chocolate protein shake and a scoop of peanut butter to make a post-gym "ice cream" that my kids tried to steal from me. My youngest called it “ninja pudding” and honestly, I didn’t correct her. It felt right.

Here’s what I’ve whipped up in my Ninja CREAMi so far:
- Strawberry-banana sorbet with a splash of lime juice (summer in a bowl)
- Chocolate avocado gelato (don’t knock it until you freeze it)
- Oat milk vanilla with crushed Oreos (hello, dairy-free cookies & cream)
- Chai-spiced “lite” ice cream with almond milk (my fall obsession)
- Birthday cake milkshake with sprinkles (because I’m the adult and I said so)
Basically, if you can blend it and freeze it, you can CREAMi it.

Nope. Unless you consider “pour, freeze, push a button” complicated. You do need to freeze the mixture for 24 hours before spinning, but once you get into the rhythm, it’s super easy to plan ahead. Think of it as your future self saying, “Hey, tomorrow deserves a treat.”
Also: cleanup? Totally manageable. The containers are dishwasher safe, and the machine doesn’t explode frozen dairy all over your counter. Win.
