Free Gas, Free Dinner, Free Movie
Well, not for you, sorry...
The free gas, free dinner, and free movie are just for me and Rob tonight.
There will be no giveaway tonight because Rob has asked me out to dinner and a movie. Since I have been working well into the night to get all these freebies and giveaways posted for you - Rob says I need to take at least one night off before the big birthday week of giveaways coming up on Friday! Can't argue with leaving the rest of the family at home and having a night out with my husband!
But in keeping with the freebies theme, we will be using gift cards given to us by his work buddies while he was in hospital - for Petro-Canada gas station and for Montana's, Swiss Chalet, Kelsey's or Milestone's Grill - and a gift card we got at Christmas from my son for the Cineplex movie theatre.
We haven't settled on the restaurant yet, though I am leaning towards Montana's Steak House - but we have been waiting to see "The Time Traveller's Wife" ever since I read the book last year, which I borrowed from the library. And we even have free gas to get us there!
So I guess you can say I am a cheap date! LOL
But a frugal tip for you is when people ask what you want for birthdays, Christmas or other special gift-giving occasions - tell them you want a gift card to your favourite store, gas station, theatre or restaurant!
Then you can be a cheap date too...
