No Such Thing as a Free Lunch?
How about a free breakfast, lunch, and supper??

Today we bought:
• Two loaves of Dempster's Smart bread (570g) @ $2.58 each - cost $5.16, less free coupons - $0.00
• One box of Kashi Honey Almond Flax cereal (425g) - cost $5.49, less free coupon - $0.00
• One container of Source Yogurt (650g) - cost $2.97, less free coupon - $0.00
• Two Maple Leaf Chicken Cesar Pasta Shakers (300g) @$3.47 - cost $6.84, less free coupons - $0.00
• Two packages of Schneiders Juicy Jumbo hotdogs (450g) @ $3.99 - cost $7.98, less free coupons - $0.00
• One package of Olivieri Three Cheese Tortellini pasta (350g) - cost $5.49, less free coupon
- $0.00
• One container of Olivieri Four Cheese Pasta sauce (300g) - cost $4.49, less free coupon - $0.00

Then we added some jucie to wash it all down, Oasis Premium Orange Juice (175g) - cost $3.99, less $1.00 coupon - $2.99

And don't forget to feed the dog - Beneful Lamb & Rice dog food (283g) @ $2.49 each - cost $5.98 - less buy one get one free coupon - $2.49 (Buddy easts 1/3 of Beneful a day, so that's six days meal)

And to clean it all up, two bottles of Nature Clean Organic Cleaning Lotion (1 L/35.5 fl. oz) - cost $4.69 - total - $9.38

To pay for it all, we used our $10 gift card for buying Brita filters in Loblaws - minus $10.00

Total Original cost of our shopping trip: $57.78
Total coupons: $41.92
Gift card: $10.00
Total out-of-pocket expense: $5.86

    where did you purchase your free items?? I tried to use the coupons for the juicy jumbos, bread, maple leaf, and pasta but was denied the coupons, because the grocer thought they were a scam.

  2. I bought most of them from Loblaws, SuperStore and Walmart. At that time, I didn't have any trouble using my coupons.

    But I've heard that as of yesterday, most stores are no longer accepting computer printed coupons.
