Coupon Bargains - Nov 3/08
I used a few more of my free Scrubbing Bubbles coupons yesterday at Canadian Tire. I didn't think the check-out lady was going to let me use four coupons, because she read the coupons over and over. But in the end she accepted them. I've been handing out the Scrubbing Bubbles boxes to family, because I just can't tolerate the scent - but then I am very scent sensitive. I still have two more coupons to spend.
We also had coupons for the new Rug Stick we wanted to use. The Canadian Tire store had it in their system @ $16.99 for the Rug Stick and $4.99 for the Woolite Rug Cleaner, but nothing in stock. So we went to Rona next and found the Woolite Rug Cleaner for $4.49, and my coupon was for $1.00 off. No Rug Stick in stock though. We checked a few more stores the website said was carrying this new product, but no-one had it in stock.
We came home and I checked the website again, doing a search for a store nearby this time. Turns out there are no stores in our area carrying this product. Just as well, though, because it saved us from buying one. Rob used the Woolite Rug Cleaner, the whole can and it did nothing for the rug and the pet stains. So no point in buying the Rug Stick.
