Coupon Bargains - Oct 22/08
First we went to Walmart®, and had a coupon for $5.00 off a Gillette® Fusion™ razor. But they wanted $10.54 for just the razor!
Rob found a Gillette® Fuzion™ gift pack for only $8.74, containing one Fuzion™ razor, one Fuzion™ razor cartridge, and two (198g - 7oz) cans of Fuzion™ Shave Gels.
So original price of one razor - $10.54
Price of Gift Pack - razor & 2 shave gels - $8.74
Less $5.00 coupon - Total cost = $3.74
Next, I had a $2.00 off coupon for the Pantene Prov-V® Red Expressions™ shampoo that I've been wanting ever since I got a sample in my P&G sample pack. But they wanted $8.43 for the shampoo!
So we looked around some more and found a Pantene Pro-V® Expressions™ gift pack for $6.93, containing one bottle (384ml - 13oz) of Red Expressions™ shampoo and one bottle (400ml - 13.5oz) of Red Expressions™ conditioner.
So original price for one bottle of shampoo - $8.43
Price of Gift Pack - shampoo & conditioner - $6.93
Less $2.00 coupon - Total cost = $4.93
Rob wanted a bottle of Head & Shoulders® shampoo - the (420ml - 14.8oz) bottle cost $3.76, we had a coupon for $1.00 off, so total cost was $2.76.
He also needed new heads for his Oral-B® toothbrush and we thought we found a deal at 3pk/$18.96 at Walmart®, because Shoppers Drug Mart® wanted 3pk/$21.95. With our $3.00 off coupon, the total cost was $15.96.
But then we decided to stop into Loblaws®, because they had some Venus Embrace® razors on clearance, and I had some $4.00 off coupons. No razors left, sadly, but we found the Oral-B® toothbrush heads on clearance for 3pk/$8.25!
Now I wished we hadn't bought them at Walmart®. I still had one more $3.00 off coupon, so we bought another 3 pack - total cost $5.25.
I also bought a 6-pack of Nestlé® Carnation® Instant Breakfast, it cost $5.49, I had a $4.00 off coupon - so total cost was $1.49.
Then I had a Duncan Hines® coupon, if you buy two frostings or brownie mix, you get a free cake mix. So we picked up a brownie mix (450g - 15.9oz) at $2.29, a cake frosting for $2.49 and a cake mix for $1.89. The checkout girl gave us the brownie mix for free instead of the cake mix! So cost was $6.67, with coupon - total cost was $4.38.
We also had two free product coupons - one for free Pledge® furniture polish (470ml - 16.6oz) - cost was $4.79. With coupon, total cost was $0.00, including taxes.
The other free product coupon was for Dove Go Fresh® body wash (354ml - 12.5oz) - cost was $7.49. With coupon, total cost was $0.00, including taxes.
Original price for all these products: $91.07Coupons used: $32.57
Total cost: $38.51
